Review service demand
Review reservations, recent sales and opening stock to define the ingredients needed for the coming service.
WORKED EXAMPLE
Tomatoes · Branch A · kilogramsNext service needs 20 kg.
Use one unit from purchase through receiving, usage and waste.
Selected step / 01: Review service demand. Responsible role: Branch lead. Next responsible role: Branch lead.
A practical starting scope.
Start with purchasing and receiving at one branch, or one daily stock-and-waste report. Agree units, item identifiers, cutoff times and the person who resolves variances.
Connect the records you already use.
Assess approved POS exports, accounting interfaces, supplier lists and branch spreadsheets. Recipe costing depends on reliable units, yields and ingredient data; integrations depend on each provider's supported access.
Define the delivery responsibilities.
This is a scoped operations service. A ready-made POS, payment processing, payroll and delivery-platform integration are not automatic inclusions.
Custom project scope and availability are assessed individually. Standardized sector products are planned, not generally released. Migration, hosting, support coverage and acceptance checks are agreed before delivery.
Discovery questions
What we need to understand.
- How many branches and storage locations share stock?
- Which POS and accounting records remain authoritative?
- Who approves purchases, transfers and write-offs?
- Are recipes, yields and waste reasons recorded consistently?
