Deployment
Carry an accepted system into operational use.
A useful system starts with an agreed operational problem. Each stage defines scope, dependencies, validation and responsibility.

STEP 01 / 08
Prepare the release
Identify the build, configuration, migration and acceptance evidence included in the release.
Understand the operation. Define the system.
Map the people, workflow, pain points and existing environment. Agree roles, data, interfaces, deployment choices and acceptance checks.
Problem definition → System blueprint → Delivery plan
Client responsibilities include business decisions, technical access and representative test inputs.
Validate a focused version. Prepare for use.
Test the important workflows with representative users and data. Check security, recovery and release behavior, train users and agree the handover.
Working pilot → Acceptance evidence → Production release
Resolve material dependencies and findings before expanding the rollout.
Make ongoing responsibility explicit.
Define who monitors, maintains and supports each part of the system. Prioritize changes against operational needs and actual usage.
Support agreement → Service review → Improvement backlog
Agree support hours, response targets, maintenance windows, recovery responsibilities and escalation arrangements.
Run it where the operation needs it.
We work with AWS, Google Cloud (GCP), Microsoft Azure, on-premises servers and edge devices such as Raspberry Pi. A hybrid design can combine these environments around connectivity, data sensitivity, existing systems and local conditions.
Environment assessment → Deployment topology → Recovery plan
Infrastructure ownership and third-party service responsibilities are documented in the scope.
Deployment choices
Run it where the operation needs it.
AWS
Run the application and its data services in an AWS environment, connecting approved operational sources to a shared workflow and reporting view.
Components in this environment
- Application compute
- Data storage
- Identity + monitoring
- Operational sources
- AWS application + data
- Authorized teams

- Source identifier · Permitted fields · Update acknowledgement
- What this step does
- Identify the permitted source event and the user or system responsible for its accuracy.
- Control
- Keep the original, current version and responsible owner.
- Accountability
- Source owner. Next responsible role: Identity administrator.
STEP 01 / 08
Capture the source
Identify the permitted source event and the user or system responsible for its accuracy.
Before deployment. Agree the AWS account, region, network access, resource permissions, cost controls and recovery ownership.
